Sunday, June 13, 2010 ( cocktail party @ 8:51 PM ) The answer is: exchange as many name cards as possible and building a good rapport for business. I was ask to go to a cocktail party that held at my customer's place by my boss. He asked me to bring my boyfriend along, but because he gotta work, i ask lisa to go with me instead. We were early. So, the organiser's sales executive start his work early. He passed me the brochure for advertisement in their magazine. It is a free magazine that distribute to hotels, chef association, and other organisation. But too bad, i can not make any decision, just can reply him that i will tell my boss about this. Then, start to have more people coming in but lisa and i still sat at the table side. Then, that guy come over again and asked us to go down to the floor and ask me to start work - which is to exchange name cards. But i feel it kinda weird, because it is not my own name card that i exchange. It is my boss name card instead. Hence we did go down to the floor but the purpose is for the food. We had champagne, juices and i had one more glass of white wine. My first time try for white wine. I think, can not mix the liquor, i did not mix actually just after the champagne i continue white wine. But while i was in the train i feel a bit drowsy, wonder is it because of too humid or because of the wine. 0 comments |
